Braga is a city of Portugal, located in the heart of the Minho region. It is the capital of the state with the same name with almost one million inhabitants. It has already been named European Capital of Youth, as well as European City of Sport.
Braga is also known by the City of Archbishops, and is one of the religious capitals of Portugal.
Braga is (for me) one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal.
The Historic Center, is undoubtedly an amazing place to walk, from the campo da vinha, to the Sé area, from the Souto street to the gardens of Santa Barbara, the Arcade, the Avenue...

Braga Portugal, is certainly a beautiful city.
For those who love sightseeing, you can take a hike up to Monte do Picoto, a walk to Sameiro, or climb the funicular to Bom Jesus do Monte!

I have lived in several cities in Portugal, but in my opinion Braga is one of the most beautiful... It has monuments, streets, avenues, nightlife and beautiful gardens.
Contrary to what is said, there are discos and bars, and it is close to everything. Close to Porto, close to Spain and close to the sea.
David Pinheiro, Guimarães, Portugal
Having been born in Braga, nothing makes me as happy as praising this beautiful Portuguese city... Of course, Portugal has other fantastic cities, such as Aveiro, Coimbra, Lisbon, Porto, Guimarães, Funchal among others... But in my opinion, none have the charm of my city of Archbishops!
Come and it's really worth it!
Paulo Miguel, Braga, Portugal
Despite being from Lisbon, I have always seen a special charm in Braga. In my opinion, it is the most pleasant city in Portugal to live in, because it has a bit of everything, but the main thing is that being a middle city, it does not have the traffic problems that the big cities have. Even in times of greater traffic, Braga, it crosses in less than half an hour, and in normal hours, in ten minutes!
Victor Sampaio, Braga, Portugal
Braga (Portugal), is a balanced city.
It has the benefits of large cities (leisure zones, shopping areas, environment, movement, employment ...) without, however, having the traffic problems of the big cities. It is a city that is easily done, and that is arrived, without problems and, quickly from one zone to another.
Antonio Ruas, Braga, Portugal
I was born Lisbon and I love Lisbon, but whenever I can, I visit the wonderful north of Portugal ... My favorite city to stay in is without doubt Braga ... It has everything a traveler can want, although there are other places interesting in the region, such as Ponte de Lima, Gerês, Esposende, Guimarães, Viana do Castelo, etc.
Ana Paula Almeida, Lisboa, Portugal
Braga Portugal, is the capital of Minho for many reasons.
Of course, Ponte da Barca, Arcos de Valdevez, Esposende, Póvoa de Varzim, Viana do Castelo, Guimarães, Ponte de Lima and many more are wonderful, but Braga is undoubtedly the city of Minho par excellence...
Ricardo Alves, Braga, Portugal
Although I live in Porto, for professional reasons, I love Braga, which for me is one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal in every way. This is not to say that there are no other beautiful cities, however Braga is the city of Portugal elected from my heart, but I am suspected to speak because I was born in this beautiful city Minhota.
Rui Mendes Pereira, Porto, Portugal
I love Braga! It is a beautiful city, and as a young Brazilian student I especially like this city for quality higher education. Pala furthermore Braga is full of interesting monuments and culture. It also has a marked advantage, compared to other cities in Portugal: it is quite cheap in terms of housing and quality of life.
